This variable duration, theoretical classroom course, provides lifesaving instruction in the much-neglected topic of “Situational-awareness”.
Topics such as how to think with a predator’s mind, prevention and awareness, and how to remain physically safe when communicating in high-risk situations.
The course introduces methods to evaluate your home and other common environments for threat, ambush and interception points, and illegal accesses, and effective use of lighting. From the home, the curriculum expands out to the street where it details pedestrian and vehicle situational awareness, strategies and tactics that enable you to avoid a potential threat of various kinds. The course briefly deals with the concept of escape and evasion,and then finishes with an understanding of vehicle security and methods of avoidance specific to carjacking.
Based on a standard per person cost , course costs are event dependent, with a minimum attendance of 10 persons per course. This course is only available in Canada. Exceptions are available.
