This course provides effective self-defense training focusing on common carry objects such as walking sticks, canes, and umbrellas.
Using simple yet effective W.E. Fairbairn based techniques, this course makes a powerful addition to anyone’s current self-defense repertoire and is an excellent option for the hiker, physically assisted person, or for any middle-aged plus persons.
This powerful course provides immediately usable instruction that turns a walking stick, cane, umbrella or any sturdy length of material into an expedient and effective weapon. The course identifies and outlines the common attributes and structural advantages that guide the use of these common items. The course then closes with instruction in proper grips, striking patterns, readily accessible targets, and their related effect once attacked.
This course is compatible with our optional “Remote-Learning Personal Trainer” module.
This course is currently only available in Canada. Exceptions are available. Course are costed on a per person basis, with a minimum of 10 attendees.
