NORTH AMERICAN COMBATIVES CONVENTION II

WHEN: JUNE 17th & 18th, 2023. Gates open 08:20 – Training starts at 09h00. A lunch-break (but no food) is provided at 12:00 approx.
N.A.C.C.2 is an open-to-all Two-day multiple instructor Combatives training event. All unarmed and armed methods to be presented are highly adaptable. *Participants are advised to wear standard personal protective equipment.
N.A.C.C. events are deliberately sequenced to deliver a congruent package of combative capability.
INSTRUCTORS AND THEIR PRESENTATIONS SCHEDULE:
DAY ONE – SATURDAY
AM: Rapid Assault Tactics. An aggressive forward moving method of attack developed my Paul Vanuk. Instructor – Chris Hennessey (New York State, USA)
PM: Introduction to the MEDUSA Edged Weapon System. A prison based system built on the principle of “Shock-Latch-Stab”. Instructor- Cris Anderson (Ottawa, CDN)
DAY TWO – SUNDAY
AM: Introduction to DEFENDU. This is the fighting system William Ewart Fairbairn developed for the Shanghai Police and Anti-riot Teams. Instructor – Cris Anderson (Ottawa, CDN)
PM: Shock and Economy of Movement. This seminar focuses on using Shock to disrupt the O.O.D.A LOOP and enhance the “Closest weapon to the closest target” concept. Instructor – Barry Drennan (Montreal, CDN)
